Dear Sir/Madam,
I am in virginia on H1 status and my husband got H4 stamping in India recently.And now i am willing to transfer my H1 from XXX employer to YYY employer.
did my husband can enter the USA with that same H4 stamp after my H1 trasnfer also or not? or does he required to to take new H4 stamp with new employer name of prinicpal applicant before coming to USA.
Is there any Port of entry problem for him in case if he travel on H4 visa showing the Old employer of Principal aplicant.
Kindly give me the reply ASAP.

I have a valid H1B visa stamp from company A. Now if I transfer my h1B to company B, and decide to travel outside US, do I need to go to the consulate and get a new visa stamp ?

As of 23 September 2006, we have received less than 15 questions in preparation for the next call. This does not meet the critical mass of 20-25 questions for justifying a conference call.
Please follow process listed in the thread http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1267 for us to consider your questions.
Also, please spread the word around.
I am attaching a flyer for your convenience. You could request your friendly neighborhood ethnic grocer (Indian/Mexican/Chinese/Filipino and others) or video rental store, religious gathering or communal gathering place to carry these flyers in a prominent location. (You'll be surprised at the positive response you will get from such businesses- I had my reservations at first, but when I approached a temple sometime back, the temple officer appreciated the efforts made by us for such a "great cause"- his own words).
NOTE: Flyer will be available after file upload/download problems are resolved.

Hello Gurus,
Can we apply for H1 if our I-485 is pending while the current status is L1.
The reason I am asking is I-485 is itself a COS and if we apply H1 while on L1 it is again an COS petition from L1 to H1. So what happens to the I-485 application?:confused:
Will there be any impact or no impact at all?:mad:
Is there an option to apply without asking for COS when applying H1 with the current status as L1.:confused:

USCIS has announced that it is working on a rule to create an electronic registration system for H-1B employers subject to the annual cap. Employers would first register an application and be allocated an H-1B cap number and then would file the case. The idea is that employers would need to register to claim an H-1B cap number first and then if they are selected, they then would prepare and file the case. I think you can log on to uscis.gov and check the case status for receipt number, always good to add this receipt number to your account (User Account) where you can track your portfolio.
