Most of the Indian companies (TCS, Wipro, Infy, etc) have more than 50% H1Bs, I believe.
They will bring/hire more resources to near shore (if not onsite) Brazil/Canada to satisfy clients...This year the demand for H1b is around 25K.... next year that may go down to 10-15K... good for future EB -AOS applicants.. :-)

Thank you for your response. Are you saying that we can take a chance by just sending the letter which includes details such as A#, receipt numbers etc; without completed DHS Form 7001. This sounds to be good plan, where employer is not supporting. However., the only catch is, if employer knows about this later, it doesn't look good.
Please correct me , if I'm wrong about understanding yout statement.

SGP, It took 3-4 weeks for a co-worker in eb2 to get an approval once labor was filed(excludes Pre activities like ads etc)
It seems Feb 2011 is a golden era for PERM approvals , almost similar effect of July 2007. I have noticed people who filed in February got their PERM approvals in under 2 weeks.

My heart jumps with joy, but my brain still caution the heart to wait for the official visa bulletin at DOS/USCIS website. USCIS has a trend of "correcting" the visa bulletin. Nevertheless, if the dates are really what they are published at Mumbai site, its a time for us to be happy.
EB2 looks promising, but in this moment of joy lets not forget our friends in EB3 category. Anyone whose priority date is current, please don't just move forward with your joy, and continue to support IV and our initiatives to help legal immigrants. We have suffered so much because the folks who came prior to us never bothered to support legal immigration, once they got their their GC. Please remember that after GC/Citizenship, our status in this nation as a minority group depends on how active we are socially/politically.

Every time we work on a bill we move a step forward. We have come a long way in the past 2 years. Some bills came and went and did not bring us any relief but that should not stop us from working hard when we see the next window of opportunity.

Every visa bulletin there is some information of the coming months processing that needs to be interpreted. The Oct 08 bulletin talks about the following:

That item also indicated that if the CIS projections proved to be incorrect, it would be necessary to adjust the cut-off dates during the final quarter of FY-2008. The CIS estimates have proven to be very high resulting in: 1) the �unavailability� of all Employment Third preference categories beginning in July, 2) the �unavailability� of numbers for China and India Employment Second preference adjustment of status cases during September, and 3) the establishment of many October Employment cut-off dates which are earlier than those which applied during FY-2008.

IV does not need a change in leadership. We have a very effective leadership that is working hard behind the scenes to bring about a positive change to the community. If we have not been noticing major changes, it's due to the passive (chaltha hai chalne do) nature of our community, who don't even lift a finger to swat a fly, until and unless they receive a RFE/NOID/Rejection letter from the USCIS.
No change in leadership will bring about any change, unless the community changes it's mentality, raises above narcissism, and becomes actively involved in the movement. This requires a "person with the face", a person ready to expose himself as a leader of the movement to motivate others; subjecting himself/herself to death threats (and other threats) from anti-immigrant goons like ITGrunt and others. Our fearless Aman Kapoor has made that bold sacrifice for the ungrateful community which blames him for all our collective failures.
So before proposing a change in leadership, I request Mr. Bawa to post his personal picture in the IV profile and/or publish a YouTube video of his ideas for the movement ( just like Aman's video on Immigration Voice). I can't vote for a faceless leader hiding behind anonymity. I need a real life person with real ideas. Do we have such New fearless leaders in our community?

Silly question but I need an answer :)...How can I use Bill pay here? I bank with BOA and it asks for a company name if I choose bill pay...
Login to your bank account (This is for BoA)
Go to Bill Pay>>Payees>>Add a Payee
You will see two options
1)Pay a company
2) Pay an Individual
Click the GO button next to Pay an Individual (without entering any information)
In the next page
You will see a small form
Payee- is the name- in whose favor the check will be made
Nickname is for your reference
In Identifying information- you can put your handle
Rest is obvious
Payee creation is one time setup
Once you have created a payee
Go to Bill Pay>>Overview
and here you will see an option to make a payment
Login to your bank account (This is for BoA)

What spillover for EB3 you are talking about? Based on how they interpreted the spillover law last year, EB3-I can't get any spillover until EB2-I and EB3-ROW is current and thats decade away.
I am just trying to get the facts. I am not against EB3-I as I myself is EB3-I and waiting for my turn since last 7 years.

I Agree with you, EB3 I will never ever be current unless there is a resolution or releaf passed by Mr Change (Obama) or his lobby, there is no light beyond this tunnel until we see some releaf which does not look getting this year atleast and may be another couple of years.
Predictions are good to just hear and watch and here predictions are like lovely dreams which will never come true unless untill any big chnage is taken place, and the only person who i have hope with to do something for EB3 I is President Obama.
But he is kind of busy with other important issues and our issue is not that important for him reason may be we are not his vote bank and will get to the curve of getting the GC when we are very close to our graves.
This is really furstating and freinds sorry to express my frustration here on this forum but i am done and just look at my PD Dec 2001 for the past 1 year i hear from my lawyer you are just the next badge and should be current in the next bulletin.
I think we should live everything aside and just do our best at work thats what i am doing and thank god for getting our bread and butter in this economy.
