I had emailed the Murthy team on Friday. Today Mr Vasant Nayak from Murthy.com emailed me back with concerns since i had emailed him from yahoo and my name was not in the list of volunteers. I have given him Admin and Walden Pond's names and have emailed both Admin and Walden Pond to touch base with him.
Murthy is a BIG source of traffic. He did say Murthy wud have to look a lot into us to put a link on their website. I request someone from the Board to pls get in touch with Mr Vasant Nayak. If you need his email pls send me a private message (as i dont want him getting spammed) ;)

Hi Gurus,
If you look at my signature, My 485 has been transferred to TSC from NSC and AP is still stuck at NSC. I have some emergent situation back home , I have faxed the doctor certificate and called USCIS using POJ method and the guy says it might take another month. wat the *****....tried infopass..my local office doesnt have no more appointments.
My questions:
1. Can I take Infopass appointment anywhere else which is not my local office?
2. Can I apply a new 131 application at TSC as my 485 is there now?
Someone pls advise.

I have applied for EAD renewal on September 1 2010. I have received receipt notice and checks are cashed . There was soft LUD on my case two weeks back without any change in status . To day I got email with case status � Initial Review� with following messsage
We have placed this case I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION on hold because there is a pending litigation that may affect the outcome. We will resume processing as soon as the litigation is resolved. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision about your case, or if the office needs additional information.
This is my 5th my EAD Renewal and earlier I do not have any issues with Renewals . My current EAD Expires in December 1 Week . Please advise what I need to in this case , as I do not have any clue about pending litigation. Can I check with Local office about what was the pending litigation or do I need to approach through lawyer

Here is the latest on H1B visa numbers, they now passed the 50K mark. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that it has now received approximately 48,977 H-1B petitions counting toward the congressionally-mandated 65,000 limit. USCIS also confirmed that it has received approximately 17,836 H-1B petitions for employees with advanced degrees from U.S. colleges and universities. The annual limit on H-1B petitions in the advanced degree category is 20,000.
Accordingly, USCIS is still accepting H-1B petitions under both the general cap and the advanced degree cap. We also continue to process H1B cases, but time is running out so in order to secure visas for this season employers must act now.

Hi,
Can someone tell me a little bit about visitor visa validity dates. For eg: if my parents got a 3 month visa, is it valid from the date it is issued or from the date of entry into the US?

It is valid from the date it is issued and they shld enter the US before it expires. However at the port of entry, the consular officer may chose it give it beyond the actual expiry date.

My friend needs to attend a family urgency and planning to travel immediately . His AP is expiring on 3 Sep 09( 4 days ) . He is working on EAD and is in Adjustment status he is yet to start the AP renewal process ...any advice appreciated...

My friend John Lamb in Nashville has had this idea for a while.
